Wolves beat Everton on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup and have now been drawn against Chelsea in the fourth round.
Vitor Pereira masterminded a 2-0 victory at Molineux, with the team bouncing back after the awful defeat against Leeds United at the weekend.
Pereira switched things up and went with a back four, which led to more defensive stability.
Marshall Munetsi and Tolu Arokodare were on target for the hosts, and the hope now is that Wolves can take confidence from the result going into the Premier League game with Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
The performance against Everton was promising.
And while the priority this season is to stay in the Premier League, many fans would love to see a cup run.
Wolves have Chelsea in the fourth round, and some fans reacted to the draw on social media last night.
Wolves fans think Chelsea draw isn’t as bad as it seems

After taking on West Ham United and Everton, Wolves are now facing yet another Premier League side in the Carabao Cup.
The Club World Cup champions will be coming to Molineux and hoping to book their place in the fifth round and ultimately win the trophy for the sixth time in their history.
Chelsea stumbled past Lincoln City to reach this point, coming from behind to win 2-1 on Wednesday night at LNER Stadium.
On the face of it, it will be a tricky game for Wolves but some fans are actually feeling quietly confident, suggesting the Blues could rotate.
@jf_wwfc: “Chelsea at home is a decent game tbh, Chelsea will be heavily rotated.”
@tatterwolves05: “Just glad we got a home draw… not fuming with Chelsea tbf they’re an awkward team I think.”
@amarwwfc: “Chelsea shouldn’t be taking this cup so seriously as they haven’t started well, for their standards, in the league or the champions league… so you never know #wwfc”
@UFCfan294678: “Not bad and I don’t see Chelsea going full strength so could have been worse.”
@oli__wwfc: “Chelsea at home isn’t as bad as you may think #wwfc.”

Wolves can beat Chelsea
There are plenty of other teams in the draw that Wolves would have preferred to face over Chelsea.
Ultimately, they are a team with many quality players in their squad.
However, Wolves fans make a valid point that Chelsea could rotate a fair bit for this game. There is also the surprising record of Wolves winning their last seven home games in the Carabao Cup, which is encouraging.
That said, Chelsea know they’re facing a Premier League opponent this time and Enzo Maresca could still field a somewhat strong side.
Wolves lost both of their Premier League games against Chelsea last season, but had won three in a row before that.
Wanderers are definitely capable of progressing, and hopefully the team will be in better form by the time the game rolls around.
