Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been expressing their dismay after an injury update arrived about Pedro Neto on Wednesday.
The youngster has been hard at work recovering from a broken patella.

The 21-year-old suffered the injury against Fulham last term, causing him to miss the club’s final seven games of the season.
He ended up missing out on Euro 2020, and had originally been lined up to return for Wolves around October time.
But on Tuesday, rumours began to surface about Neto and there had been whispers he had suffered a setback.

Last night, word came from The Athletic that Neto has indeed suffered a setback.

The player could now be out until February at the earliest.
It is a bitter blow for Wolves, with Neto having enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2020/21.
With Raul Jimenez on the sidelines for the majority of last season, Neto would often be the player to step up.
The news could well force Wolves into action in the market.

Bruno Lage has already brought in Francisco Trincao, but may now wish for more cover.
On social media, the update on Neto came as a crushing blow to supporters:
