Wolves manager Bruno Lage offered an update on Pedro Neto’s recovery from injury ahead of the clash with Brighton.
As per the Athletic, he said: “Pedro will return in that period (January) to start training. Maybe he (then) needs more time to prepare himself to start playing for us.”
“It depends on him. Injuries, problems, we need to give attention to that, I don’t want what happened to Jonny to happen to Pedro.”
Wolves are clearly keen not to rush Neto back but it appears that his fitness battle is moving in the right direction going into 2022.

Neto’s comeback will boost the firepower and creativity of a Wolves side which is currently on a run of just one goal in six Premier League games.
He will not be back playing in the coming weeks, but the update still got some Wolves fans talking ahead of the trip to the Amex Stadium.
Naturally, some are really keen for his comeback to be managed carefully, reasoning that there is no point rushing him back and he will perhaps not be back to his best until next season.
Others are more excited, but here is how the latest on Neto went down at a time when Wolves fans need something to cheer with goals at a premium…
