Wolves fans react following last night's Carabao Cup draw

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting following last night’s announcement of the Carabao Cup third round draw, with the club to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Bruno Lage’s side produced a fantastic performance against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

They won 4-0 at the City Ground, with goals coming from Romain Saiss, Daniel Podence, Francisco Trincao and Morgan Gibbs-White.

Chris Hughton did put out a young side, but Wolves could only beat what was in front of them.

It was a really professional and efficient job from the visitors.

There have been some ugly wins and displays in this competition under Nuno Espirito Santo in the past, but this was totally refreshing.

Wolves’ reward for beating Forest is a home tie against Spurs.

Lage will be seeking revenge, after the north Londoners took three points in the Premier League clash last weekend.

Wolves were much the better side in that game, but just weren’t clinical enough.

In the end, it was a Dele Alli penalty that separated the two sides and ensured a winning return to Molineux for Nuno.

By the time the game rolls around, Wolves could well be into their stride.

The signs are very positive at the moment, but obviously the players are still adapting to Lage’s methods and tactics right now.

Hopefully, the recent 1-0 defeat will act as fuel for the players to raise their games and get revenge. There will more than likely be a sense of injustice from losing that league game.

On social media, fans have been giving their reaction to the announcement that Wolves will be facing Spurs again.
