Wolves fans have been reacting to reports Renat Dadashov has sustained a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The striker is currently on loan at Swiss outfit Grasshoppers, but now faces a lengthy period on the sidelines.
The 21-year-old has already undergone surgery.

Dadashov had been hoping to make his mark over in Switzerland, having not played too many games at Pacos de Ferreira in 2019/20.
The Azerbaijan international made just nine appearances during his loan at the Portuguese outfit.
Getting experience of senior football is vitally important for Dadashov, who has caught the eye for the Wolves U23s after signing for the club last summer from Estoril.
There are very high hopes that the player can perhaps some day become a successor to Raul Jimenez at Molineux.
But that day will not come any time soon, with surgery to repair a cruciate ligament a footballer’s worst nightmare.
The player has taken to Instagram to share an update on his condition.
He wrote: “The surgery went well, there are ups and downs in life,it is part of it,the first phase is over. For me it is now time to work harder than before. It has never been easy in life but what doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger.”
Wolves fans were dismayed to learn of Dadashov’s injury blow, and wished the striker a speedy recovery on social media:
Awful news 😔 Luckily he’s still very young but there’s never a good time to suffer a setback like that.

🙁 Looked great in the u23’s the times I saw him, very Jimenez-esque player.

Poor guy…really hope he gets back on his feet sooner rather than later. Talented kid

Gutted for the lad. Will he come back to Wolves for recovery or stay out there?

Absolutely gutted for the lad, so much potential. Really hope this is just a minor blip in what should be a fantastic career for @Wolves

What a shame, would love to see him have a crack on loan at a Championship club

Didn’t he just return from injury, the lad can’t catch a break… shame as he’s one of the bigger talents in the academy
