Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to news this morning of a contract extension for Romain Saiss.

The Morocco international will spend another season at Molineux, after his contract was automatically extended due to having started enough games for the club (20) this season, according to the Express & Star.

Saiss joined Wolves back in the summer of 2016 from Angers for around £3 million, becoming Fosun’s 10th signing after buying the club a month prior.

He’s gone on to make 167 appearances for the club so far, and it seems plenty more await for the 30-year-old.

Saiss has become an integral part of Wolves’ squad over the years, and is one of the most versatile players at Nuno Espirito Santo’s disposal.

Although used more in defence these days, the star is a midfielder by trade and can also fill in at left wing-back if needed.

Word of Saiss’ extension has reached social media, and fans are pretty overjoyed with the claim.

Saiss is a popular figure at Molineux, and that was reflected in some of the responses:
