Wolves fans react as report makes Youri Tielemans claim

Wolves might have signed Youri Tielemans before he made his move to Leicester City.

That is the claim today from The Telegraph, who ran a piece about Nuno Espirito Santo before today’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Nuno returned to Molineux earlier today for the first time since leaving back in May.

It was a successful return, with Spurs – despite Wolves’ dominance in the game – running out 1-0 winners.

Apparently during his time at Molineux, there some communications issues that sometimes affected transfers.

Apparently the recruitment staff once recommended Tielemans to Nuno.

But the move for the then-AS Monaco maestro was vetoed, and he ultimately made a move to Leicester City.

It’s been a fantastic time for the Belgian at the King Power.

He’s already racked up 110 appearances for the club (including his loan spell) and his best moment came in last season’s FA Cup final against Chelsea when he netted a stunning winner from distance.

He’s certainly a player who has very quickly proven his worth.

On social media, some fans have been reacting to the claim about Tielemans.

As expected, some are a little uncomfortable with the idea that he might have become a Wolves player.
