Wolves fans react as Pedro Neto becomes latest player to fall victim to injury curse

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans are cursing their luck once again, with Pedro Neto having been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The winger will play no further part in 2020/21, having suffered significant damage to his patella.

He was forced off in the first-half against Fulham, having supposedly been nursing an issue since the international break.

Neto will undergo surgery this week, and is facing months on the sidelines – a report from Jornal de Noticias claimed before Wolves’ announcement that he will miss Euro 2020.

The injury blow comes just days after Jonny Castro Otto suffered a second serious knee injury in eight months.

Neto has undoubtedly been Wolves’ shining light this season.

The 21-year-old has lit up the Premier League at times, and has often been the talk of the town for neutrals supporters when their teams face Wolves.

Hopefully, he can make a swift and speedy recovery, and pick back up for Wolves where he’s left off.
