Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to a claim that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Nuno Espirito Santo.
According to the Express, the north London outfit are thinking about possible replacements for Jose Mourinho.
The Special One is under mounting pressure now, and is up against it to get the club back into the Champions League.
It’s been an underwhelming season for them after a solid start.
Things may change if Spurs win the Carabao Cup, but right now Mourinho is definitely struggling.
Apparently Nuno has been identified by Daniel Levy as a potential replacement.
There have been a few whispers about the 47-year-old’s future at Molineux amid what’s been a season of struggle.
At times this term, Nuno has cut a forlorn figure on the touchline.
That said, he did sign a new deal last year, and has spoken as if he’s in this for the long haul.
On social media, fans have been reacting to Tottenham’s apparent interest in Nuno:
The same wolves fans crying when Nuno was linked to Chelsea and Arsenal now cant wait to ship him out after one bad season in 4 years 🙄

If he leaves then we can wave goodbye to much of our Portuguese contingent and our close Mendes link. No doubt that a few would follow his way, could imagine Neto, Neves, Moutinho heading elsewhere as well if this happens.

I know they’re desperate to get the most out of Doc but this seems extreme https://t.co/S3IhduGClX

Excellent manager who tends to pick up a big result just when we need it the most. Very defence-minded but improves players that a takes fancy to. Will hugely frustrate you by ignoring other players. In conclusion, a lot of Mourinho similarities!
