Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been reacting to shock reports that Nuno Espirito Santo is interesting both Everton and Crystal Palace
Out of the blue, Carlo Ancelotti departed Goodison Park yesterday to become the next Real Madrid manager.
The Italian had only been in charge of the Toffees since December 2019.
He takes over at the Bernabeu for the second time, replacing Zinedine Zidane after his recent departure.
The development has, in turn, led to reports that Everton could now turn to Nuno to replace Ancelotti.
talkSPORT say the Toffees are now lining up the 47-year-old, who only left Wolves by mutual consent just over a week ago.
Not only has been linked with Everton, but Crystal Palace are also said to be in the frame.
The Evening Standard have reported that talks have been on between the two parties in recent days, which is a huge surprise.
Many have been expecting him to take a job back in his homeland or Spain given the lack of contact he’s had with his family in recent times.
It remains to be seen if anything comes to fruition, but some fans have expressed their surprise about Nuno being linked with these two Premier League clubs in particular:
Nuno to Everton surely not 😂#wwfc

Nuno to Everton. My son will have to leave home if he does

Fully emotional if Nuno manages another team in the Premier league, but I wouldn’t be surprised, the guys an amazing manager and any club would be silly not to try and get him on board 🤷#wwfc #wolvesaywe #NunoEspiritoSanto pic.twitter.com/jv5wepxKJq

Well if you needed further proof that nuno was sacked. Him being favourite for the palace job says a lot.

Fair to say if Nuno takes the Palace job, we can safely say he was definitely sacked rather than it being his decision #wwfc
