Wolves fans have been reacting on social media to Diogo Jota scoring his first goal for Liverpool, on his Premier League debut against Arsenal.
The winger recently left Molineux to become Liverpool’s most expensive ever forward player, with BBC Sport reporting the fee will rise to £45 million with add-ons.
Jota made his first appearance for the Reds last week against Lincoln City in the EFL Cup, getting just over half an hour at the LNER Stadium in the 7-2 win.

Jurgen Klopp decided to hand the Portugal international his Premier League debut against Arsenal on Monday night, taking Sadio Mane off with around 15 minutes to play.
Wouldn’t you know it, Jota made an instant impact for the hosts down the left.
After causing problems for the likes of Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding, he popped up in the 88th minute to score from the edge of the box, rifling his effort into the bottom left corner.
It was frustratingly good cameo, which came 24 hours after Wolves produced a horror show against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

In the capital, Wolves were seriously lacking in attack and could have done with an in-form Jota to break the Hammers down.
The star’s brief showing at Anfield prompted a mixed response from Wolves fans on social media, with some expressing their happiness for the star and others struggling to hide their hurt:
I’m honestly pleased for him …. what have we done ????

Jota came on for Liverpool and was an instant threat. In 10 minutes he had more shots than the wolves managed in yesterday’s game, and topped it off with a goal. Massive loss to us and hope he does well. #wwfc #Wolverhampton #LIVARS
