Wolves fans have been reacting on social media to the news that skipper Conor Coady has put pen to paper on a new deal at Molineux.
Sky Sports had reported that the two parties were in talks, but the club delivered official confirmation at around 5.30pm on Wednesday evening.
It’s a shiny new five-year deal for Coady, who has been with the club since 2015 after signing from Huddersfield Town.

The former Liverpool academy graduate has become a key member of the starting XI in recent years, making almost 250 appearances for the club.
Under Nuno Espirito Santo he has transitioned into a solid centre-half having arrived as a holding midfielder, and his unwavering form over the past couple of years prompted Gareth Southgate to finally call him up for England earlier this month and hand him his Three Lions debut against Denmark.
Speaking after signing his new deal, he said: “It’s an incredible day, honestly. I look at what this club has given me over the years, and it feels like home to me – it has done since the first day I came. I’m honoured to play for this football club every day, so to sign a new deal is absolutely incredible.”
