Wolves fans have praised Nelson Semedo, after the star put in a fine performance against West Ham United.
Bruno Lage’s side are now up to sixth in the Premier League table, after a 1-0 win over the Hammers.

My Revenge On Ben Foster
Raul Jimenez scored the game’s only goal, converting Daniel Podence’s cross in the second-half.
It was a fine display from Wolves, who had 15 shots in the game.
Given the form West Ham have been in, to come away with all three points yesterday was huge.
Pretty much all the players had good performances yesterday.
One man who was coming in for quite a bit of praise was Semedo.

The star, making his 13th appearance of the season, was a real threat once again and played very high up.
He was involved in the goal, driving forwards to find Jimenez who switched the ball out wide to Podence. The winger then crossed for Jimenez to score.
West Ham had real difficulty keeping tabs on the 28-year-old, which was summed up when Declan Rice hauled him back to stop him one of his runs, earning him a booking.
Fans praise Nelson Semedo for performance against West Ham
He really has made a great start to the new season.

Lage wants his wing-backs to be high and wide, and Semedo is getting into some very threatening positions.
The defensive side of his game is also much improved from last season.
On social media, some fans were quick to heap praise on Semedo for his contributions against West Ham:
#wwfc | Nelson Semedo
A special mention for the Portuguese wingback who was outstanding this afternoon.
Defensively solid & his readying of the game was excellent as he nipped in & recovered the ball multiple times.
Also a relentless option on #wwfc’s right hand side.
Classy.

His best performance in the old gold.
Having a great season.— John Hennessy (@daturk74) November 20, 2021
Are we now seeing the real Nelson Semedo? This season he’s far better defensively and he gets forward very well. I just wish he would be a bit more positive when he gets around the opposition’s 18 yd box

Can we all take a moment to give @_nelsonsemedo_ a pat on the back for that performance today! A little like Coady, he seems to be the easy victim for criticism yet I’ve always seen him provide pretty consistent performances. That today was just phenomenal. #wwfc

It’s time for people to put some respect on Semedo’s name. #wwfc
