My Revenge On Ben Foster

Silva hasn’t been featuring much for the first-team this season.

Bruno Lage has called upon Raul Jimenez in all but one of Wolves’ Premier League games so far.

The only one The Mexican didn’t start against Leeds United, Lage stuck Hwang Hee-chan and Adama Traore up top in a partnership instead.

So far, Silva has played just 34 minutes in the Premier League.

The main source of his opportunities this term have come in the Carabao Cup, for the U23s and for the Portugal U21s.

On Twitter yesterday evening, Silva responded when a user uploaded a photo of the player looking forlorn during Portugal’s 6-0 win over Cyprus.

And since then, Wolves fans have flocked to the post to comment their support for the player.

It has been tough for Silva since coming to Molineux.

He arrived with a big price tag, and was quickly thrust into the first-team spotlight following the injury to Raul Jimenez.

He had come to the club with little first-team experience, so he was perhaps always going to find things tough.

Silva is still only 19 years of age, and hopefully he isn’t being too hard on himself.

Wolves fans have certainly been doing their bit to pick him up:
