Wolves take on Everton tonight and are looking to bounce back after crashing to a fifth straight Premier League defeat at the weekend.
Wanderers return to Carabao Cup action for their third round clash, and are seeking revenge on the Toffees who won the Premier League game a few weeks ago.
The game offers a chance for Wolves to get back on track, and respond quickly to the dismal defeat against Leeds United at the weekend.
It was arguably the worst performance of the season so far, and Vitor Pereira needs a response tonight, with a difficult game coming up at the weekend against Tottenham Hotspur.
A win tonight would boost confidence ahead of that game, so hopefully the players who are selected can get the job done. Pereira reckons one good result will lift confidence, but Everton will be another tough test.
There will likely be an odd atmosphere tonight, with graphics already going around on social media showing that a low attendance is expected.
That would be a reflection of the poor mood right now, but Wolves are still planning to do something that has left some fans cringing.

Wolves planning light show ahead of Everton match

Wolves putting on a light show at Molineux for nighttime games is not uncommon.
Wolves have urged supporters to get into the ground early to see this show and ‘help build the atmosphere’ according to the club’s official website.
The club posted about this on X yesterday, but they perhaps may not have anticipated the response from fans.
Many feel that, given how poorly Wolves have played so far this season, a light show is not necessary tonight.
@apples2930: “Whoop-de-doo 🙄 here’s an idea. How about you just focus on the team putting on a performance that we can actually get behind?”
@mark_spruce: “Fantastic news, but will there be anyone there to watch it? Probably be better than the match to be fair.”
@letsdigit: “The club are so tone deaf.”
@Ianwwfc1970: “What a waste of time.”
@jay_wwfc07: “No use, nobody will be there to see it lads.”
Atmosphere could be lacking at Molineux against Everton
The cringing of some Wolves fans about tonight’s light show is understandable.
There’s set to be a low attendance tonight, with a lot of fans using this game to take a stand against the ownership.
The club are requesting fans to take their seats early to try and help build an atmosphere, but many are simply apathetic at the moment.
And that is mostly down to how the owners have sucked the soul out of the club.
