Wolves fans have made their minds up about a Nuno Espirito Santo return

Nuno Espirito Santo’s future is up in the air at West Ham, which happens to fall in line with the potential sacking of Rob Edwards at Wolves.

Fosun appointed Rob Edwards as Vitor Pereira’s replacement after watching him take Middlesbrough to second in the Championship.

However, things have arguably been worse than they were under Pereira. Edwards has picked up zero points in his first seven games, and consistency remains a significant issue.

Wolves‘ squad is definitely not of a Premier League standard, but the style of football is far too negative.

This has resulted in Rob Edwards’ future coming under the spotlight, with rumours that Wolves are considering sacking him if things don’t improve.

The Hammers are set to play Wolves this weekend, but the former Molineux mastermind is under scrutiny, having averaged just 0.77 points from his 13 games.

That hasn’t got in the way of the golden memories that were enjoyed in the Midlands.

mjmorgan33 had this to say.

“This is a must for Nuno’s return. The job & the club as a whole is too big for Rob Edward’s given his experience & Jeff Shi & Fosun’s complete stupidity. Wolves have now lost millions paying managers off & stand to lose more with the drop looming! Nuno in & 300mil budget =survival.”

jalopity69 believes Fosun will get in the way.

“Nuno will never come back while Fosun are owners. They are the reason he left. The ambition of Fosun had gone, and the money was needed to pay £600million of debt they have in China.”

benwolf2004 claims Nuno is the saviour.

“Nuno is the only person on earth who could bring back the ‘feelgood factor’.”

mervyngaffney even offered Edwards to West Ham.

“Bring him back, swap Edwards to WHU.”
