Wolves fans give immediate reaction to Bristol City FA Cup draw

Wolves have been drawn against Bristol City in the third round of the FA Cup.

The draw was made live from Old Trafford earlier tonight, with the 44 Premier League and Championship clubs now entering the competition.

The big tie of the round is undoubtedly Manchester United against Arsenal.

Liverpool were drawn against Accrington Stanley where many will be on the lookout for a potential giant killing, as they also will for Manchester City against Salford City.

But Wolves have been given an away tie against Bristol City.

The last time the two teams met was actually in the FA Cup, with Ivan Cavaleiro scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for Wolves at Ashton Gate in 2019.

Fans will be hoping for the same outcome this time around, and ideally Wolves will come into the game in some decent form

On social media, fans have started to react to the news that Wolves will face Bristol City in the FA Cup third round.

Many had obviously been holding out for West Bromwich Albion.

The sides met in the fourth round of the competition last season, with Wolves winning 2-0 at the Hawthorns in a game that saw Matheus Cunha score and produce an iconic celebration.

But West Brom have been handed an away tie against Bournemouth.

The draw for Wolves against Bristol City has produced a fairly negative reaction online.

Some feel it’s a bit of a boring tie, while others have even suggested that Wolves could be in danger of losing, which is definitely a possibility.

It’s likely not a game too many will be majorly fussed about right now. But that feeling will surely change nearer the time.
