Matheus Cunha has just six games remaining at Wolves before the curtain is drawn on a successful career at Molineux.
Cunha has hit double digits for goals in consecutive campaigns, finding the net 16 times in 2024/25 and attracting a raft of interest as a result.
Big clubs want to sign Cunha this summer and trigger his £62.5 million release clause, with the 25-year-old setting his heart on leaving.
Although Cunha scored against Tottenham and apologised to the fans, Cunha did anger the Wolves faithful after hinting about his exit on social media before quickly deleting the post.
Now, with his departure from the club anticipated, Wolves fans fear another player could leave as one key update emerges.

Wolves want Hugo Bueno to stay and fans fear Rayan Ait-Nouri could leave
Wolves wing-back Hugo Bueno is currently enjoying an incredible loan spell at Feyenoord, where he’s flourished on the Champions League stage.
Multiple solid performances have seen Bournemouth register an interest in Bueno, though the rumours have been quashed by Liam Keen, revealing that Wolves plan on keeping the 22-year-old this summer.

That is fantastic news as the Spaniard could play an important role under Vitor Pereira, especially with his crossing, but supporters fear that Bueno staying could result in Rayan Ait-Nouri leaving.
“Probably means Rayan is on his way out. Sad news but hopefully we can get back anywhere from 35-45m for him,” one fan posted.
“RAN off then? :(” a second reacted while a third said: “Sell RAN for 40+, use Bueno as first choice and buy a cheaper HG back up (Walker Peters maybe for free). Got 20+ from RAN to spend elsewhere then.”
If we get £30m plus for RAN and play Bueno it’s great business, two different LB/LWBs but Bueno far superior defender.

“Does this mean Rayan will most likely be sold then or potentially played further upfront as part of the attack?” someone else questioned.
“Bye bye to RAN. Welcome back injury-prone Bueno,” a sixth negatively posted while another replied: “If Ait Nouri is expected to leave he really is the perfect replacement.”

Bueno could replace Ait-Nouri
In February, transfer expert Graeme Bailey exclusively revealed to Molineux News that Bueno could be Ait-Nouri’s replacement.
“Wolves aren’t saying that Ait-Nouri is definitely going to go but there’s a real chance he does. They’re definitely having conversations about Bueno, if Ait-Nouri stays, that’s a different conversation but I think he’ll be back from what I’m hearing,” Bailey said.

Ait-Nouri is admired by Liverpool and could be targeted as a replacement for Andy Robertson, while Tottenham have also shown an interest in the Algerian.
News of Bueno staying at Molineux indicates his teammate could be sold, as the Feyenoord loanee wouldn’t want to remain at the club if he was warming the bench.
In terms of attacking output, Ait-Nouri is impossible to replace as he’s produced 11 goal involvements in all competitions but defensively, Bueno is arguably better and could pose a threat to the wing-back role next season.
