Wolves have announced the nominees for the club’s November Player of the Month award.
November has been rather mixed for Bruno Lage.
Wolves played four times, despite there being an international break, and picked up seven points.
The 2-1 win over Everton was encouraging, as was the recent 1-0 victory over West Ham United.
But the defeat to Crystal Palace was very disappointing and Saturday’s draw against Norwich City felt like an opportunity missed.
Seven points is not bad going though, and some players have had a really good past few weeks.
Those in contention for the latest Player of the Month award are Jose Sa, Rayan Ait-Nouri for the first time this season, Raul Jimenez, Ruben Neves and Max Kilman.
So far at Wolves this term, Sa, Kilman and Hwang Hee-chan have claimed Player of the Month awards, which are voted for by the fans.
Kilman is the only player to have been among the nominees every time.
Wolves fans discuss who should be the November Player of the Month
Taking a glance at social media, it seems most people think that Jose Sa should be the November Player of the Month at Wolves.
He kept two clean sheets, which is half his full season’s tally.
And he has continued to make some fine saves. At the weekend, Wolves probably had him to thank for coming away with a point in the end.
Some were vouching for Kilman who was, again, very consistent. He could easily scoop a second gong.
But Sa does seem the most popular choice at the time of writing. Here’s what some people said:
Sa / kilman- neither deserve to lose out
