Some Wolves fans have been discussing the possible impact of Chelsea’s decision to sack Frank Lampard.
Wolves’ next Premier League game is against the Blues on Wednesday night, and the west London club willing be heading into the game with a new man at the helm after officially firing the 42-year-old.

Many outlets, including the Telegraph, are reporting he is to be replaced by German manager Thomas Tuchel, who left Paris Saint-Germain last month.
The news comes with the Blues having struggled for results in the Premier League of late.
Five defeats in the last eight games in the league have seen Chelsea lose ground on the teams occupying the top four, and the board seemingly think change is needed to get the club back into the mix.

Tuchel, if reports are accurate, will arrive at Stamford Bridge having won six major trophies with PSG, and one DFB-Pokal with Borussia Dortmund.
The possible incoming of a new coach at Chelsea has prompted discussion amongst some Wolves fans ahead of Wednesday’s game.
While the removal of Lampard and the potential arrival of Tuchel so soon before the clash could actually tip the balance in Wolves’ favour, it seems some are more fearful that Chelsea will benefit from a ‘new manager bounce:
Oh great. So we face “new manager bounce” syndrome on Weds ! #wwfc

Either way, I think the sacking of Lampard comes at the worse time for Wolves. They’ll be up for impressing the new manager on Wednesday. With Lampard in charge, I think #wwfc had a chance win.

Was hoping Lampard would hang on until we’d played them.

Not sure if Lampard going is good or bad news for us. Either way we have just got to play better. Recent performances very worrying #wwfc

Gutted. Was hoping he’d still be in charge so we could get him sacked!

Nuno will be next if we don’t start picking up results soon. No room for sentiment, it’s a results business.
