Wolves fans were treated to a surprise announcement on Wednesday evening, with Max Kilman penning a new long-term contract until 2025.
The news comes just 24 hours after the defender produced a man-of-the-match display against Leeds United in a 1-0 win at Elland Road.
Kilman made an impression against Fulham recently, but was absolutely dominant against the Whites last night on what was only his fourth Premier League start.
The 23-year-old drew big praise from Nuno Espirito Santo after the game, and it seems he could well now embark on an extended run in the starting XI.
He follows the manager, Raul Jimenez and Conor Coady in committing his future to the club.

Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “It feels great and it’s something that I’ve always wanted. When I first came to Wolves, I always felt there was a future here for me and I could do well here, and it’s been a great two years.

“Everyone here, from the staff, to the players, to everyone involved in the club, they’ve all been brilliant with me and I’ve always felt very welcomed here.”
