The Spaniard has been hard at work in his rehabilitation having had surgery after sustaining ligament damage against Olympiacos in the Europa League back in August.
Jonny has recently been keeping fans up to date with his progress on Instagram, showing some of the things heβs been doing in the gym.
But today Wolves delighted supporters by releasing pictures of the 26-year-old back out on the grass for the first time.
It seems Jonny was getting a feel for the ball again and working on his movement.
The images suggest Jonny is on track with his recovery, which is a big boost for Nuno Espirito Santo.
The star is a very popular figure at Molineux, and has been missed in 2020/21.
New signings Fernando Marcal and Rayan Ait-Nouri are yet to pull up any trees, although itβs obviously still early days for the pair.
