Wolves fans delighted after Jonny resumes full training

Wolves defender Jonny Castro Otto yesterday returned to full training, in what is really encouraging news for the club.

The Spanish full-back has been out of action since suffering ACL damage against Olympiacos back in August last season.

Jonny has been working extremely hard to try and get himself back fit as soon as possible, updating supporters on his progress via Instagram.

Last month he started light training again, and now it appears his return may not be too far away.

The club’s social media accounts yesterday revealed Jonny to be back participating in a training warm-up with the rest of his teammates at Compton.

It has sparked hope that the 26-year-old will soon be in contention to play games for the first-team again.

Jonny has been a huge miss for Wolves this season.

The star has been an excellent singing for the club since first arriving on loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2018.

New signings Fernando Marcal and Rayan Ait-Nouri have both done well in parts for Wolves, but many supporters have partly attributed the team’s defensive struggles this term to Jonny’s absence.

On social media, the sight of Jonny mixing it with his teammates again prompted excitement and relief for some Wolves fans:
