Wolves fans have run out of patience with Fosun as tempers reach boiling point at Molineux.
The Old Gold have made the worst start of any Premier League side in history after 14 games, and relegation looks inevitable at this point.
Fosun invested heavily in the summer, but the recruitment strategy was completely flawed, aiming to replace players like Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri with unproven quality.
Fosun’s net spend as Wolves owners… but where has it all gone?🫣
The January transfer window is already being eyed as an important one by Rob Edwards, with a meeting already held with the Wolves board about plans.
However, the big issue for Wolves in the January transfer window will be persuading players to join a team that will potentially be playing Championship football next season.
Though it seems that an exit may be the first piece of business on the cards at Molineux.
Wolves fans furious as club makes Fer Lopez loan decision
Fer Lopez joined Wolves in the summer for around £19 million. He struggled for game time under Vitor Pereira and has yet to even appear in any of Rob Edwards’ squads since taking charge.
Now, a January exit is all but confirmed after Liam Keen reported that Wolves have decided he will head out on loan, with a return to his former club Celta Vigo a possibility.
What do you make of Wolves’ decision to loan out Fer Lopez after his £19m move?😬
This hasn’t pleased Wolves fans, who have been calling for him to get a run in the side all season.
@Molineuxworld unleashed his fury at Fosun:
“Watch this kid, another Vitinha esq scenario on the horizon. FOSUN OUT. There’s something there that can unlock defences….Rob Edwards over to you….. SORT IT OUT.”
@wwfc2004 blames the way the club is being run right now :
“You can’t make this up, can you? Our club is run horribly.”
@Sarah_J_Martin has reached boiling point:
“Disgraceful, not even given a chance.”
Fer Lopez on course to be Wolves’ next Vitinha
Wolves opted against signing Vitinha after his loan spell. They put it down to not being convinced by his performances, which seems crazy in hindsight.
The Portuguese midfielder has gone on to become a regular for the national side, as well as becoming one of the best midfielders in the whole of world football.
Fer Lopez showed signs of promise in his brief cameos, but has gone AWOL over the past month or so.
We now know why there has been a lack of willingness to involve him in matchday squads, with a loan move on the cards, but we can’t help but feel this could backfire once again.
With so much hype about him coming to Wolves, it’s hard to believe he hasn’t had the chances.
There was real hype when Fer Lopez first signed for Wolves
