Wolverhampton Wanderers have reacted with joy at a tweet from journalist Tim Spiers.
The Athletic correspondent has provided some information about this weekend’s game with Crewe Alexandra.

It is the first of six friendlies for Wolves in pre-season.
It is a chance for Bruno Lage to get a good look at some of his players in match action.
There will also be a chance for fans to get a first glimpse of ‘Lage ball’.
According to Spiers, striker Raul Jimenez is due to feature in some way.
It will be the first time the 30-year-old has played in a game since the horrific skull fracture he suffered against Arsenal last November.
Jimenez has been hard at work in the past months, but a potential return in 2020/21 was ultimately a bit too soon for the Mexican.
The star was badly missed, with Wolves coming 13th in the Premier League following back-to-back seventh places.

Wolves said they expected he would be ready for the start of 2021/22, and it seems he will be involved right from the start of pre-season, which is fantastic news.
On social media, Wolves were left buzzing following the tweet from Spiers.
