Wolves have been busy in negotiations around the striker position, and fans have had their say.
Since the departure of talisman Matheus Cunha to Manchester United at the start of the window, fans have been left wondering what plans are in place to reinforce at the top end of the pitch.
Portuguese striker Fabio Silva has been mixed up in transfer rumours since returning from a fruitful loan spell with Las Palmas, with the 23-year-old attracting interest from a number of clubs.

Both Silva and Wolves want a permanent move to materialise this summer. With news emerging today about Wolves’ interest in Millwall’s Mihailo Ivanovic, fans have taken to the internet to give their view on the possible incoming and outgoing deals.
Wolves fans undecided over Fabio Silva and Mihailo Ivanovic transfer moves
Rumours surrounding the Portuguese youngster have carried on steadily for most of the window, with Silva linked repeatedly with a move to Germany. The movement of strikers away from clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt and potentially RB Leipzig has added more fuel to the Silva speculation.
One fan wants to be smart about dealings with Frankfurt, given their stellar development history. They write: “If it’s Frankfurt, we 100% must include a sell-on clause. They’re phenomenal when it comes to reselling talent. Fabio, in a less physical league with higher defences, will flourish. Good luck to him, and with a high sell-on, in our interests too he does well! Take €15m + 20%.”
But another takes issue with the suggested fee: “€25 [million] then minimum, they can afford it.”
Some Wolves supporters are unsure of selling the player without a viable replacement being arranged, with one pointing out: “We need players in before we can sell.”
Most fans seem to be okay with the idea of Silva leaving, but given the £35 million fee he arrived for, there are those who take issue with letting him go for cheap.
As for the Ivanovic news, most fans seem to be interested given the lower fee. Millwall are said to want £15 million.
Some think he would be a great backup, claiming: “Would be an ideal back up especially for the price”, but also not shutting the door on their current striker’s future, continuing: “[I] wouldn’t be against giving Fabio another chance though.”
One Wolves fan had some bad memories from past dealings that make him want to take the Ivanovic deal while they can.
In this instance it was Viktor Gyokeres, who recently signed for Arsenal, as they said: “That’s the price. Look what happened when we baulked at the Gyokeres price.”
What should Wolves do up top?
Both options have upside at such a young age, but there is a legitimate concern about Silva and his inability to break into this Wolves side while he was at Molineux.
While the club won’t be able to recoup the fee they got him for, they may be able to come close given the heavy pockets of Eintracht Frankfurt and possibly RB Leipzig. Both clubs have shown they are capable of developing world-class strikers, so a move could be beneficial for seller and buyer alike.
As for Ivanovic, the fee seems reasonable given the current market, but anything higher may have Wolves fans wincing. He is just 20 and would be a great prospect for the future.
However, it does not seem like either will be capable of filling the Cunha-sized void in the side, and supporters of the club will be hoping for more attackers to arrive before the window shuts.
