Wolves fans are all saying the same thing about Jose Sa after performance vs Leeds

The mood at Molineux is at a low as Wolves slumped to a fifth consecutive Premier League defeat.

Vitor Pereira’s side are languishing at the bottom of the league on zero points, and the head coach’s comments after losing to Leeds have been criticised.

The Wolves squad are sorely missing real quality, and it is becoming hard to find where that could come from.

Pereira’s team are struggling both to score and prevent conceding goals, and relegation has now become a stark possibility.

Jorgen Strand Larsen has suggested a way to start scoring, but fans are getting worried about the other end of the pitch, and about Jose Sa in particular.

Wolves fans frustrated by Jose Sa’s performances

The Old Gold faithful were far from impressed with multiple things against Leeds United.

While Fer Lopez’s assist excited fans, there was not much else for them to be positive about, and fans were heard chanting about their grievances.

Additionally, they were not best pleased with the performance of Jose Sa, and they took to social media to give their thoughts.

One Wolves fan said, “Genuine question. Has Jose Sa made a save this season?”

Meanwhile another supporter stated, “Jose Sa has no more than 3 saves in 5 games. I mean, what are we doing here good LAWD?”

A different Wolves fan expressed his frustration, saying, “Sa continuing his great run of letting in every single shot on target.”

And the sentiment was echoed by another who stated, “Jose Sa and agbadou should be nowhere near the starting line-up; both are complete liabilities.”

The performances of the goalkeeper have been far from ideal, and Emmanuel Agbadou is another that fans are unhappy with.

However, this could be an opportunity for another player to step up.

Sam Johnstone should be given a chance by Vitor Pereira

Jose Sa is not in good form, and Vitor Pereira does have another option at his disposal.

Sam Johnstone started Wolves’ match against Newcastle United, and the Englishman was impressive.

Johnstone received praise from fans and his manager against the Toon, and there is no reason he cannot overtake Sa in the pecking order.

The Wolves goalkeeper started their last cup match against West Ham, so it is likely he will feature against Everton on Tuesday.

It can be another chance for Johnstone to showcase his ability and make a strong case to be the Old Gold’s number one moving forward.
