Wolves fans are all in agreement about Enso Gonzalez after what has just come out

Wolves have lacked creativity in the squad this season, and fans believe that Enso Gonzalez could be a solution.

The Paraguayan has just been linked with a loan move away from Wolves, and that has got fans talking on social media.

The attacking midfielder has been training under Rob Edwards but, so far, before Arsenal, has yet to be named in a matchday squad.

Additionally, he has not received a first-team minute since the final game of 2023/2024, which was the only appearance he has ever made for Wolves other than at the youth levels.

Which position do Wolves need to prioritise in January?

Wolves fans believe Enso Gonzalez deserves a chance

Wolves fans have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their opinion about Enso Gonzalez. The consensus among them is that he should be given a chance before any decision over his future is made.

January could be a busy window for the Old Gold, who sorely lack quality in the forward department, but with a possible solution at the club, it could be worth trying him out.

One fan said, “He should be getting minutes and making squads imo.”

Another echoed that, stating, “One we need to keep hold for the Championship next season. Why not give him some game time ourselves this season, he can’t do any worse than the current crop.”

Meanwhile, a different Wolves fan said, “I actually think we should give him some minutes. 10-20 minutes here and there, see what he can do, can’t do much worse than what we’ve been served up anyway.”

Would you allow Enzo Gonzalez to leave in January, or would you give him a chance to impress Rob Edwards?

Signed in 2023/2024 and only has one minute on the pitch for the first team.

An additional supporter stated, “Heres an idea: give him a chance here.

While another says, “It’s strange that the first team is terrible, and yet they don’t give him any chance.”

And a separate fan exclaimed, “He should be playing for the first team.”

Finally, one supporter stated, “Here’s an idea. Why don’t the clowns at our club actually give him a chance? At least he has pace and will attack. Same goes for Fer Lopez and Mane.”

It seems clear what fans want to happen, but whether Rob Edwards takes that step remains to be seen.

But if he was ever going to test out Gonzalez at the Premier League level, now would be the best time.

No better time for Enso Gonzalez to prove himself

With Wolves experiencing something of a crisis for number 10s, this could be his chance to prove himself at Premier League level.

The injuries to Marshall Munetsi and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde leave just the Paraguayan and Fer Lopez as Rob Edwards’ natural options.

Lopez is another player whose future is up in the air. He has been linked with a loan move as well, but the injury to Bellegarde could spark a U-turn.

With the gap to safety already looking too big to overcome, taking a risk on playing Gonzalez could be worth doing.
