Wolves are said to be holding talks with Julen Lopetegui that will likely result in him leaving the club.
The Spaniard’s future is now in serious doubt, amid the ongoing issues with FFP.
Wolves have been unable to spend money on transfers this summer, and strengthen the squad in the way Lopetegui would like.
Lopetegui is unhappy with the situation.
It did look as though he was going to stay, when he had considered his future shortly after the end of last season.
But now it looks more likely that he will leave, given fresh reports today.
Julen Lopetegui currently in talks with Wolves, with exit looking likely
It has been reported by both the Express & Star and the Guardian today that Lopetegui is looking set for the exit.

The Express & Star are reporting that Lopetegui is now in talks with Wolves officials, and that a financial package is being discussed for his departure.
Lopetegui is unlikely to walk. And the club are unlikely to sack him. So there are talks to reach an agreement for him to leave Molineux and how much he would receive.
The talks are said to be ‘amicable’.
The Guardian have said that it is now ‘expected’ that a settlement will be reached for Lopetegui’s exit.
Lopetegui has been due to take Wolves training this afternoon.
But that is perhaps now in some doubt, amid more speculation today.
It is thought that Wolves have already got a contingency plan in place, having spoken to former Bournemouth manager Gary O’Neil.
O’Neil did a great job of keeping the Cherries in the Premier League last season, but was still sacked in June.
Wolves must move as quickly as possible
This is hugely concerning and it does look as though Lopetegui will now be on his way.
It is a huge shame how this has panned out, given Wolves appeared to be on the up with him at the helm.
But seemingly, Lopetegui feels he just cannot work in the current climate.

Wolves must now work as fast as possible, with the Manchester United game just six days away.
If O’Neil is the man they want to replace Lopetegui, he ideally needs to come in tomorrow or Thursday so the players can at least get some idea of what he wants from them before United.
