While Wolves lost heavily to Manchester United 4-1, there was more disappointment early in the second half when Jean-Ricner Bellegarde hobbled off with injury.
The Haitian has been one of the brighter and more positive players for Rob Edwards throughout his short spell so far, and his efforts were rewarded with a goal against the Red Devils.
Dave Edwards claimed Bellegarde is one of the most ‘exciting’ attackers in Wolves’ squad, and after recent performances, that is not an overstatement.
Bellegarde was evidently not present in Wolves’ training photos this week, as fans have been waiting for an update on the status of his fitness.
Now, ahead of the game against Arsenal, there has been some news about the injury the player picked up against Man United.
How many points can you see Wolves getting over their next five matches? 🤔
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde out for six or more weeks

Over recent weeks, Wolves have seemed to pick up quite a lot of injuries.
Marshall Munetsi will be sidelined for weeks with a calf problem, Rodrigo Gomes is still out for some time following surgery on his groin, and now Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is joining them on the injury list.
After needing help walking off the pitch against Manchester United, it seemed that the Haitian had picked up quite a serious injury, but hopes were that good news would come through.
However, Rob Edwards has now shared that it will be a long time on the sidelines for Bellegarde.
Speaking ahead of facing Arsenal, Edwards issued an update saying he will be out for a “period of weeks. He picked up a hamstring injury, so we are looking at six or more weeks.”
Wolves fans, who should take Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s place in the starting XI?
He'll be out injured for six or more weeks.
It is a big blow for the head coach, as Bellegarde has been looking like one of his more important players.
Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has released an injury update of his own.
Rob Edwards has limited options for attacking midfield now

The Old Gold are now sorely lacking options for the number 10 roles, and that could finally open the door for Fer Lopez to be given a chance.
The Spaniard has been linked with a move away on loan due to a lack of game time, but with the injuries piling up, he may have to stay past January.
Andy Thompson has urged Rob Edwards to start Lopez vs Arsenal.
With a lack of players for that role, Edwards could opt to use two strikers up top with a sole attacking midfielder playing behind them.
Additionally, Hwang Hee-chan and Jhon Arias could both slot into the wide 10 roles that Marshall Munetsi and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde have filled in recent weeks.
