The alterations to Wolves’ fixture schedule for December have been confirmed as per the club website.
The Boxing Day fixture with Watford is now a 12.30 kick off, despite not being televised.
There will be no game on New Year’s Day, with the game against Manchester United now on January 3rd.
That is because the game is being shown live on Sky Sports and it will now kick off at 5.30pm.
In the backlash against the proposed European Super League, plenty was made from football’s stakeholders about the game being about the fans.
But fixture alterations are made without consideration for the supporters, especially their ability to attend the games.
Some Wolves fans were not especially impressed with the changes around Christmas.
Five of Wolves’ Christmas fixtures will be televised and it is clear that the alterations are made for a television audience rather than fans who go to the games.
Here is how the announcement of the festive fixture schedule went down…
