Wolves will look to get their first win of the season against Sunderland this weekend at the Stadium of Light.
Wanderers have gone three games unbeaten in all competitions, and recent improvements have led to feelings of optimism ahead of Saturday’s game.
Vitor Pereira feels his players are more confident now than in recent weeks, believing they fully understand what he is asking of them.
Fans hope it will be a case of third time lucky, after Wolves came so close to all three points against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton.
Wolves have had a lot of players away during the international break which hasn’t been particularly ideal in terms of preparing for this game with Sunderland.
But one man who has been present at Compton is Toti Gomes, who has dropped an update on his fitness ahead of the game.
Toti Gomes feeling good after recent bout of flu

Toti was unavailable for Wolves’ last Premier League game against Brighton having been struggling with flu in the lead up to the game.
The likelihood is that he would not have started anyway though, given Pereira has now changed Wolves’ formation to a back four.
Ladislav Krejci and Santiago Bueno are building a solid partnership as a pairing, and that has seen Toti demoted to the bench in recent weeks.
But he’ll be keen to fight to get back into the team, and it looks as though he’ll be back in the squad as normal this weekend.
Toti said of his condition: “I’m feeling better right now. The flu got to me and I was not expecting it to happen, but sometimes it can happen.
“We are in a season right now where it can happen often to the players, and it’s not good to be away from training and the games, and watching it from home. But now I’m feeling good and ready to help the team whenever the gaffer wants me to.
“The international break came at a good time for me as it gave me time to recover. Even while the other guys were away, I was still training, even at home, so it was a good time to recover and now I’m feeling good.”
Toti stung by Wolves system change
So Toti has recovered from the flu and should be in the squad again on Saturday for the game with Sunderland though.
But he surely won’t be starting the game, with Wolves’ backline looking much improved since the system change and the Portuguese defender’s removal from the starting XI.
Krejci and Bueno are building something very positive in the middle, which does put club captain Toti in a bit of an awkward position.
We know he can also play as a left-back, but that position is currently locked down by Hugo Bueno.
For the time being he is just going to have to get his head down and work hard to try and win back his place.
Which he will be more than happy to do. We know that Toti is humble, and has previously welcomed competition for places.
He has reiterated that stance in this new interview, and it is certainly the mark of a top professional.
