Wolves are said to considering letting one one their fringe players leave on loan this summer, amid interest from a British giant.
Gary O’Neil has only sanctioned one player exit so far this summer.
A few weeks ago Max Kilman left to join West Ham United in a £40 million deal after weeks of speculation.
It is expected that a few more will be departing before the window closes, with Daniel Podence having suggested on social media last night that he may be set to rejoin Olympiacos.
Speculation also continues over Pedro Neto and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
One other Wolves player who has had a bit of talk this summer is Hugo Bueno, who is wanted by Celtic – and it sounds like the club could be coming around the idea of letting him go.
Wolves could loan Hugo Bueno to Celtic, the player is keen

Celtic have held an interest in Bueno for a fair while now.
They tried to sign him midway through last season. But Wolves were not open to letting him depart given their small squad size.
But the British giants remain keen, and Give Me Sport have dropped an update on the situation today.
Apparently, Wolves are becoming more open to letting Bueno leave on loan to join Celtic. Bueno is said to be keen on the move, as he is concerned about his potential for regular minutes if he stays.
Last season, he played second fiddle to Ait-Nouri, who is a player Gary O’Neil has come to greatly admire at Molineux.
Wanderers are ‘becoming more open-minded’ to sanctioning a loan move for the player, who has apparently already been the subject of one failed loan bid from Norwich City.
It is suggested that Wolves will wait to make a decision on Bueno, with Ait-Nouri having a number of admirers at the moment.
It is unlikely the Algerian will leave, but it’s not out of the question a huge bid could come in for the talented 23-year-old.
Wolves should seek to negotiate buy option with any loan for Bueno
So it sounds as though Wolves will play the waiting game with £10,000-a-week star Bueno, amid interest in the player from Celtic.
This is an interesting set of claims from GMS, because Bueno did recently say: “I’m really happy and motivated about the new season and let’s see what happens.
“Hopefully I get more chances, play well and keep improving, those are the most important things.”
Those were seemingly the remarks of a man who is keen to stay and fight for his place at Molineux, and Wolves fans know what he is capable of. Ait-Nouri is the top choice right now for O’Neil, but Bueno was brilliant in the 2022/23 season under Julen Lopetegui.
But if Wolves do reach a point where they’re ready to sanction a loan exit, then the club should try to ensure a buy option is inserted, to potentially give a good chance of making a pure profit.
