Ladislav Krejci has had a whirlwind start to life at Wolves, and the Czech defender is becoming one of the most important players for Vitor Pereira.
His signing was viewed as smart due to his ability to play in both midfield and defence, but so far, it has been successful due to the quality he has.
Over the international break, Krejci was in action for Czechia, and the media heaped praise onto him against Croatia, once again highlighting how good a player he is.
His performance also had fans talking, and they took to social media to express their opinion on the Wolves defender.
Wolves and Czech fans think Ladislav Krejci has captain potential

Both fans of Wolves and the Czech national team have been incredibly impressed with Ladislav Krejci over the last few months, and they have been lauding him as a potential captain.
Wolves lost a lot of their leaders over the summer, and thus Toti Gomes was named club captain.
Vitor Pereira also selected a new leadership group, but this was decided before Krejci arrived. Additionally, Pereira would not have been overly aware of the Czech’s leadership qualities.
However, for fans, that has now become evident.
After Czechia’s 0-0 draw against Croatia, one fan said, “Yesterday he was the best on the pitch and in the post-match interview, without empty phrases, better than the coach. At the same time, also the biggest team leader. Ladislav Krejci – ideal captain of the national team.”
Meanwhile another said, “That I would hear the entire Eden chanting Ladislav Krejčí, Ladislav Krejčí… That was definitely not on my bingo card for this year. No matter how the match turns out, it doesn’t change the fact that we’re watching the future captain of the Czech national team.”
One Czech fan wants Tomas Soucek to be relieved of his captaincy for Krejci by saying, “Soucek, thanks for everything you did for the national team… Hand over the pass to Ladislav, clear out your locker, and close it behind you.”
However, while fans of the Czech national team believe Krejci could or should be captain, Wolves fans have also been saying the same.
Following Wolves’ 1-1 draw against Brighton, one supporter said, “KREJCI. WHAT A PLAYER. The leader we’ve been missing. Throws himself into everything. First to applaud the fans at the end. He may not wear the armband, but he definitely is captain material.”
With another echoing that sentiment, saying, “Make Krejci club captain.”
It is not a recent observation from fans either; against Everton in the Carabao Cup, they were saying the same, with a fan pleading for him to be named captain, “Please make Krejci captain. Looks like a leader and a footballing Rolls Royce.”
Another stated, “Krejci is captain; anything else is nonsense.”
Ladislav Krejci must start every game for Wolves
If Wolves want to survive relegation, Ladislav Krejci must start every game, and that is an opinion that Dave Edwards agrees with.
His performances have been exceptional since coming in, and fans are already noticing his leadership qualities despite his short time at Molineux so far.
The Czech has not only been impressive in defence, but his performances in midfield have been just as good.
Vitor Pereira has a preference on where to play Krejci, but no matter where he plays, he should just play.
What a signing he has become for the Old Gold, and if they do survive the drop, it would not be a surprise to see him with the armband next season.
