Gary O’Neil is at risk of losing his job at Wolves as the Old Gold have started the 2024/25 campaign terribly.
It’s been nothing short of a disastrous start to the season at Molineux, as O’Neil’s side sit bottom of the Premier League table.
One point from a possible 21 is not the start that fans would have wanted, with Wolves experiencing a nightmare in the top flight after seven games played.
Improvement is needed fast at the club, whether it be a new system, a reshuffle of players or a new manager.

Wolves line up Gary O’Neil replacement
It’s been a surprisingly bad start to the season for Wolves, who took great strides of progression during O’Neil’s first year.
The Englishman seemed like the perfect man for the job after taking over from Julen Lopetegui, an opinion that has dramatically changed recently.
As a result, it’s now been reported by The Sun that Wolves are ‘tracking’ a possible replacement for the former Bournemouth coach.

The report claims that the Old Gold are ‘considering making a move’ for Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin, who has made a remarkable impact in Scotland.
The Sun call O’Neil’s position ‘increasingly uncertain’, adding that the English coach ‘will be given time’ to redeem himself after the international break.
That being said, a possible replacement is in line to be considered at Molineux, with Thelin being one of the most in-form managers in the game right now.
Who is Jimmy Thelin?
Thelin has become a household name in the Scottish Premiership after being named Aberdeen manager in June.
The Swedish coach has a 100% win record at Aberdeen, winning all 13 of the games he’s taken charge of, maintaining an average of three points per game, something that Wolves desperately need.
As a result, The Sun noted that the manager has been compared to Sir Alex Ferguson, as the Premier League icon rose to fame at Aberdeen.
Before managing in Scotland, Thelin took charge of Swedish first-tier side Elfsborg and before that deployment, oversaw things at Jonkopings Sodra IF, a club in the third tier in Sweden.
Now, the Premier League could be on the horizon for the 46-year-old, with O’Neil’s job at risk unless the season can dramatically change at Molineux.
