Wolves have learned their fixtures for the 2023/24 season – and many supporters are not too happy.
Premier League clubs have been finding out who they are going to play and when this morning.
Some fanbases are feeling optimistic. Others, not so much.
And it seems plenty of Wolves supporters are struggling to accept the hand their club has been dealt.
Wolves fixtures for 2023/24 confirmed
Wolves start the season with an away trip to Manchester United. Wanderers were last at Old Trafford last month, losing their penultimate Premier League game of 2022/23 2-0.
A home game against Brighton follows, and then it’s a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton.
In September, both Liverpool and Manchester City come to Molineux
At Christmas, Wolves fans will have to travel down to London to face Brentford on Boxing Day.
And at the end of the campaign, Wolves have two really tough away games.
They face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on May 4.
Then it’s a home game against Crystal Palace the following weekend.
And to finish, it’s yet another trip to Liverpool.
Wolves dealt tough hand once again with fixtures and 2023/24 could be a slog – but Julen Lopetegui must ensure good home form
It is understandable that there are plenty of Wolves fans annoyed at the fixtures list this morning.
To start and end the season with away games is just not ideal.
And that away trip to Brentford on Boxing Day is just so frustrating so supporters.
Next season, Wolves are going to have to make sure they remain solid at home and pick up points regularly at Molineux.

The club don’t want to have to be fighting for points come the end of the season, with games at the Etihad and Anfield lying in wait.
Since his Julen Lopetegui’s arrival at the club, Molineux has become something of a fortress. Having that again next season will be so crucial.
In the first half of the season, Wolves’ home games are really tough. So it will be a big test for Lopetegui to keep the strong home form going.
Hopefully, Wolves officials are able to back the manager in the summer transfer window as best they can.
They need to give him tools he can work with. Otherwise, 2023/24 could be even more of a slog than the season just gone.
