Portugal are into the last 16 of Euro 2020, after drawing 2-2 with France last night.
Fernando Santos’ side advanced as one of the four best third-placed sides, having amassed four points.
They will face Belgium on Sunday in Seville.
It was a highly entertaining game last night, with some of world football’s best players on show.
There was also good representation for Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo and Joao Moutinho all starting.
It was a busy old evening for Patricio in goal.
The star pulled off a number of great saves, including one world-class stop from Paul Pogba.
In the end, the Portugal team were no doubt thankful for Patricio’s good form.
Although at one stage, he left centre-back Pepe very upset.
For Karim Benzema’s penalty, the Porto player was adamant he knew where the striker would shoot, indicating to Patricio to dive to his right.
Pepe, of course, spent many years at Real Madrid with the star, and perhaps felt he knew his habits from the spot fairly well.
Patricio – a £16 million signing for Wolves in 2018 (BBC Sport) – opted to dive to his left, as Benzema slotted the ball in the opposite corner, prompting a hilarious fit of rage from Pepe.
At least there was nothing he could have complained about for the rest of Rui’s performance.
