Kevin Danso’s age and height

Danso was born on September 19, 1998. At the time of writing, this makes him 26 years old. He is also 1.9 metres tall which is six foot three inches.

Where was he born?

Danso was born in Voitsberg, a small city in southern Austria. When he was six years old, he moved to England and came through the academies of MK Dons and Reading.

Throughout his career, Danso has operated as a centre-half.

Since 2021, Danso has played for French side Lens. The side currently competes in Ligue 1, the top tier in France.

Is Kevin Danso good?

In France, Danso has a big reputation. During the 2022/23 campaign, the defender helped Lens achieve the best defence in Ligue 1 which helped them qualify for the Champions League.

While the following campaign wasn’t as successful, he still managed to ensure Lens qualified for the Europa Conference League.

So far this season, the club have returned to their defensive routes having only conceded 14 goals in 15 matches, the joint-least alongside PSG.

Danso has played a key role in this and has played 10 league games at the time of writing. 

Is Kevin Danso an international player?

Yes, Danso has regularly played for his nation, Austria. Since he made his debut in 2017, he has accumulated 24 caps for his country.

During this time, he has competed in the Euros and he helped the country reach the round of 16 in 2024.

Do Wolves want to sign Kevin Danso?

With Wolves’ issues in defence, a new defender is expected to be signed in January. Liam Keen has stated that Danso is Wolves’ top centre-back target.

Since then, it has been reported that Wolves have begun talks to sign Danso from Lens ahead of the January transfer window. 

What is Lens’ asking price?

It is currently unclear how much Lens will demand for Danso. In the summer, interest was high for the defender. It was believed that the French club were willing to part with him for €25 million.
