Vitor Pereira kicked off the 2025 summer window with the signing of Fer Lopez.

Wolves secured Lopez’s services from boyhood club Celta Vigo in June 2025, to the tune of £19.5 million.

Having caught the eye back in La Liga, Lopez is expected to make a big impact at Molineux and fill the void of Matheus Cunha’s move to Man United.

Arriving as a relatively unknown figure, Wolves fans will be eager to see their new Spanish sensation in action.

Fer Lopez’s footballing career first began at local side Cristo de la Victoria, before joining the Celta Vigo youth setup at under-10 level.

The Spaniard would work his way up the Celta ranks, even spending time in England in 2018 training with Suffolk-based club Bacton United 89.

After returning to his homeland, Lopez would go out on his first loan spell, joining lower-league outfit Rapido de Bouzas for the 2019/20 season.

In 2022, Lopez would eventually be promoted to the Celta reserve team, later going on to make his first team debut in October 2024.
