Wolves are preparing for their final nine Premier League games of the season. Vitor Pereira has done a good job since taking over from Gary O’Neil and will be expected to retain the club’s top-flight status.
The Old Gold sit nine points clear of Ipswich Town and Leicester City and 17 clear of rock-bottom Southampton.

Before Wolves can begin their preparations for their remaining league fixtures, Pereira must first welcome some Wolves’ first team back from international duty.

When the Wolves squad return from international break
Wolves had 11 senior players called up for international duty before Joao Gomes replaced Bruno Guimaraes in Brazil’s squad.
Jose Sa (Portugal), Nelson Semedo (Portugal) and Matt Doherty (Republic of Ireland) were all in Nations League action during the March international break. The trio have been the first to return to the club. According to the Wolves website, they arrived back at Compton Park on Wednesday.
Rayan Ait-Nouri (Algeria) also returned on Wednesday following his country’s World Cup Qualifying victories over Botswana and Mozambique, respectively.
Nasser Djiga (Burkina Faso), Rodrigo Gomes (Portugal under-21s) and Carlos Forbs (Portugal under-21s) are expected back on Thursday with the latter two competing against England’s under-21s on Monday less than 20 miles away at the Hawthorns Stadium.
Hwang Hee-chan (South Korea) and Santiago Bueno (Uruguay) are also due back to the Midlands on Thursday following their country’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Elsewhere, Wolves’ Brazilian contingent, including Andre, Joao Gomes and Matheus Cunha, are all due back on Friday, exactly one week after their 2-1 World Cup Qualifying win against Colombia. The South American trio were last in action on Wednesday when they suffered a 4-1 defeat against Argentina.
Marshall Munetsi (Zimbabwe) and Emmanuel Agbadou (Ivory Coast) will also return on Friday following their country’s African World Cup Qualifying matches.
Who could feature against West Ham
Up next for Wolves is a home tie at Molineux against West Ham on the 1st of April. The winner will take a huge step toward guaranteed safety.
Graham Potter, like Pereira, cannot afford to take their foot off the gas; momentum is key and the recent international break would’ve certainly disrupted it, so it’s important both sides pick up where they left off as quickly as possible.

For Wolves, who do not have European, or FA Cup football to worry about, this will mean lining up with the strongest possible 11. Pereira has been boosted after avoiding injuries to key players during the international break.
Ahead of the Hammers, Sa should keep his place in goal with Doherty, Agbadou and Toti Gomes making up the back three. Ait–Nouri and Semedo are likely to feature in their familiar wing-back roles with the midfield trio of Joao Gomes, Andre and Munetsi, staying the same too.
Cunha, who was handed an additional one-game ban, will once again be the most notable absentee. The Brazilian will not return until Wolves host Spurs on the 13th of April, so that will open the door for Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Jorgen Strand Larsen to keep their places in attack.
