What Wolves fans did to Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore at Molineux after Fulham defeat

Wolves fans were disappointed to see the Old Gold lose at Molineux once again however, were glad to see some familiar faces.

It was another defeat in the Premier League for Wolves as Fulham ended their winless streak at Molineux.

Though the Old Gold beat Fulham 4-1 away from home earlier in the season, Vitor Pereira’s side were unable to replicate the result in the West Midlands.

Conceding a minute after the first whistle and then shortly after the restart was not in Wolves’ plans, giving Pereira another task for his squad to improve on.

While the defeat was deeply disappointing, it was clear that the squad were fatigued from the win over Bournemouth only three days prior.

Wolves had to dig deep to win at the Vitality and were unable to do the same against Fulham, who were equally not at their best.

It was another fixture that ended in defeat for the Old Gold but, was one that ended more positively than other losses, as journalist Liam Keen noted.

On X, the Wolves expert revealed a ‘nice moment’ that unfolded at full-time between fans and former Molineux duo Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez

“Nice moment for Adama and Jimenez in the centre circle as the home fans applaud them, before a rendition of ‘Si Senor’.”

Even after defeat, some Wolves fans ensured that the pair received a special reception at their former home, with both players being icons of Nuno Espirito Santo’s high flying squad.

While Jimenez came close to scoring, Traore was involved in the goals, providing an assist for the match winner to remind those in the West Midlands just how potent he can be.
