Wolves lost their latest Premier League game against Ipswich Town – and some ugly scenes at the end may have landed Matheus Cunha in some hot water.
Wolves lost 2-1 against the Tractor Boys at Molineux, as the club’s awful season continued.
Wanderers went 1-0 down through an own goal by Matt Doherty which was very unlucky in the end, but the defending before it happened was poor.
Wolves got back on level terms in the second-half through Cunha, but shocking defending on a set-piece proved costly once again.
Ipswich’s Jack Taylor rose highest to meet a corner from Jack Clarke, taking advantage of Wolves’ zonal marking system.
That gave Ipswich the win, and after the full-time whistle, a couple of Wolves players lost their heads.
Rayan Ait-Nouri got a second yellow card for kicking off, and Matheus Cunha was also seen having an altercation with an Ipswich member of staff.
Cunha is now facing a potential ban for his actions against Ipswich, but there is one way he might get lucky.
FA waiting to see what Simon Hooper report says about Matheus Cunha from Wolves vs Ipswich

It’s been reported by the Mirror that the FA are now waiting on the match report from referee Simon Hooper.
The FA are aware of the ugly scenes that followed the full-time whistle at Molineux, but they want to see what the referee has said about the incident.
Currently, it’s unclear how much Hooper saw as there was a lot of chaos.
The FA could open an investigation depending on what Hooper puts in his report. Seemingly though, Cunha will do very well to escape punishment of some kind, given there is video footage.
But it could well be that Hooper’s comments, or lack thereof, may determine how long he will be banned for.
Hugely disappointing from Cunha
Wolves fans are now sweating over Cunha, whose actions after Saturday’s game were unacceptable.
Who knows at the moment what provoked him, but it doesn’t even matter – it’s another awful look for a Wolves player, after the skirmish that Mario Lemina was involved in on Monday against West Ham United.

Wolves can’t afford to lose their talisman right now, but it looks like they’re going to. And that’s a terrible thing to consider, because Wolves have some very tough games coming up.
There have been accusations that this Wolves squad is far too emotional and after seeing what has gone down in recent weeks, it’s impossible to argue against that now.
The pressure is obviously huge on the players. But they have to stop losing their heads.
