What Ladislav Krejci is already feeling about Wolves teammates after Newcastle defeat

Ladislav Krejci made his debut for Wolves as the Old Gold took on Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately for the Czech international, it ended in a 1-0 defeat as Wolves are still pointless so far this season.

Krejci was one of the better performers vs Newcastle, as he played in both midfield and defence throughout the match.

However, the issues the team faced were further up the pitch as they struggled to put away their chances. It is an issue that Nedum Onuoha feels is a major problem for Wolves.

Krejci has now spoken after the defeat, and he has delivered an insight into what he is feeling about his teammates at Molineux.

Ladislav Krejci has not had a lot of time with his Wolves teammates but the versatile player says he already felt something about them during the Newcastle loss.

The former Girona man was speaking with Wolves’ official club website about Saturday’s defeat, and admitted he feels they are already putting in the work.

Krejci said, “I’ve been with the team for just a few days. So, I need more time to understand everything and also the mentality and the feelings, but from the game, what I can feel is the guys wanted to go in every duel and every action until the end of the game, and it’s the most important.”

The Czech player believes that this is the foundation for success and that if they continue like this, form will turn around.

He said, “When you go like this every time, one time it will click. I believe in the team, in myself, in the project, which is why I chose it. I will fight for it until the end.”

Wolves have some crucial matches coming up, and they need to start putting points on the board.

However, the promising debut of Krejci will be a major positive for Vitor Pereira to take away from St. James’ Park.

Ladislav Krejci’s Wolves verdict needs to be seen on the pitch

While Krejci may feel his Wolves teammates are putting the hard yards in, fans will need to start seeing it produce results soon.

The Old Gold fan base is already growing impatient, and with the club bottom of the Premier League, you cannot really blame them.

Krejci already looks at home in the Wolves side, and they need the rest of their new signings to start doing the same.

Jhon Arias has failed to impress throughout the Premier League season so far, and Wolves cannot afford to give him much more time to bed in.

Tolu Arokodare showed promise, but the return of Jorgen Strand Larsen is desperately needed at Molineux.
