Wolves host Manchester United on Monday, but there will be no involvement for the suspended Joao Gomes.
Wolves are looking to bounce back after the woeful performance and result against Nottingham Forest in midweek, with United the latest opponents at Molineux.
The Old Gold remain winless in the top-flight this season.
Our predicted Wolves XI to face Manchester United 🐺
But Man United have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League this season, which gives Wolves a glimmer of hope.
That said, we know how much Wanderers have struggled in the final third, scoring just seven times so far.
Wolves will not be able to count on Joao Gomes against United, after he picked up a fifth yellow card of the season against Forest.
And ahead of facing United, Rob Edwards revealed the extent of Gomes’ frustrations.

Rob Edwards reveals Joao Gomes’ frustration over fifth booking for Wolves

Gomes has featured in every single Premier League game so far this season for Wolves, but that will come to an end on Monday.
The Brazilian was shown a yellow card by referee Tim Robinson, which was his fifth of the season. He must now serve a one-match ban.
Edwards has been speaking about not having Gomes available, and shared his own frustrations over the booking he got against Forest, believing the midfielder actually won the ball.
Edwards also revealed Gomes was so frustrated he was asking about having the yellow card rescinded.
Joao Gomes is not available to play vs. Manchester United due to suspension. How confident are you of a win without the Brazilian?
He said: “The frustrating thing was I think he got the ball. He’s got the ball and we’re defending a free-kick on the edge of our own box.
“He’s suspended now, and it wasn’t even a foul, so that was annoying. He’s really frustrated and asked us whether we can get it rescinded, but you can’t for yellow cards.”
Gomes may have been hard done by, but it is rare that yellow cards are rescinded. Mainly, that only tends to happen in cases of mistaken identity, not standard decisions like fouls.
A chance for Edwards to try new Wolves midfield combo
Some Wolves fans have suggested Gomes missing out against Man United could be positive, as he and Andre are similar players.
The pair are both defensive minded, and there isn’t much in the way of creativity.
Some feel Gomes should show more when it comes to this, as he is more box-to-box than Andre.

So we will now see a new combination against United and it will be interesting to see who Edwards plumps for.
With Marshall Munetsi out injured, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde may well be the top choice, since he’s perhaps the most natural fit.
But Ladislav Krejci is also an option. We have seen him play in midfield a handful of times this term, and the Czech international has looked fairly solid.
