Wolves will face Newcastle in the first game back from the September international break, just like last season.
Next weekend’s clash with Newcastle isn’t going to be a walk in the park.
Pressure is building on Vitor Pereira to get a first positive result of the Premier League season, against a side Wolves haven’t beaten since 2021. But that’s the task ahead of the Old Gold on their return from international duty.

Wolves hosted Newcastle in a thrilling tie at Molineux early last season.
Like this campaign, Wolves were winless going into it and pressure was mounting, but on a different manager, Gary O’ Neil.
Newcastle were off to an unbeaten start and were looking to keep the momentum.
Wolves would take an early lead courtesy of Mario Lemina, but two long range rockets from Eddie Howe’s side flipped the game on its head.
Matheus Cunha almost levelled in the closing minutes, but it wasn’t to be.
Is next weekend going to be a case of history repeating itself, or can Pereira turn the tables?
This is a weaker Newcastle side than last season, but there’s one problem
Newcastle’s summer has been a rollercoaster, with Wolves even getting entangled in the latter stages.
Alexander Isak has left the club, and the impact that will have on Newcastle is so far unclear. It could be that a weight is lifted, and the replacements fly out of the gates. Or, it could be that there’s been a lot of change, low vibes, and little time for everyone to get settled.
Last season, they came to Molineux unbeaten. This season, they’re yet to pick up a win.

But Wolves have to travel to St. James’ Park this time around, an incredibly difficult away trip.
A lot could depend on whether Strand Larsen is fit to face his former suitors, but regardless, if it’s anything like last season’s version, we’re in for a treat.
