Fer Lopez may not be playing for Wolves right now, but there is one thing he is really working hard on to improve.
It has been a tough period for Fer Lopez, who came to Wolves hoping to make a big impression.
He was signed for just under £20 million, and fans were excited to see what he could do. But sadly, the youngster has really struggled for opportunities at Molineux.
What do you make of Wolves’ plan to loan out Fer Lopez after his £19m move? 😬
Vitor Pereira was reluctant to use him, and things haven’t really changed since the arrival of Rob Edwards – although Lopez has been contending with an injury recently, which forced him to miss the last two squads.
As a result of his struggles, there has now been some talk about his future.
And a big update arrived last week, with reports claiming that Wolves are planning to loan Lopez out in January.
For now though, Lopez has his head down – and there’s one thing in particular that he’s really working on.
Fer Lopez is trying to boost his physicality

One thing players from overseas have a tough time with when first coming to the Premier League is the physicality.
The English game is fast, and intense, and many players are strong and aggressive in addition to being good footballers.
It can be tricky for players coming from foreign leagues, especially young ones, to adapt – and this has been the case with Lopez.
But the Wolves man has acknowledged this, and Atlantico have reported that Lopez is actively working on his physicality at the moment.
He may not be playing, and the likelihood is he won’t be sticking around, but Lopez is said to be following a strengthening plan right now.
Lopez situation is so frustrating
Fair play to Lopez for recognising that his physicality needs boosting and hopefully he will soon reach a point where he is a lot stronger.
It is just a shame that it looks as though Wolves will be shipping him out in the next window.
Wolves have been awful this season and there has barely been any creativity.
There was real hype when Fer Lopez first signed for Wolves
Lopez is still raw, but there have been glimpses that he can provide a spark and at this point, given how many other players have been poor, it feels like Edwards should just give him a proper chance.
It’s undoubtedly frustrating to see how little he’s featured so far. Perhaps he isn’t the final answer, but he cannot be any worse than what some of his teammates have been.
Clearly, though, they want him to get regular minutes, so we’ll see where he heads.
Celta Vigo have been strongly linked with Lopez, but at the moment it’s a bit of a complex situation, with Celta needing to make space for him and there may need to be some input from Wolves on the payment of Lopez’s wages.
