‘What a player’… Marshall Munetsi left amazed by one Wolves teammate after Leicester win

Wolves made it six Premier League wins in a row on Saturday against Leicester City, leaving fans in dreamland.

This six-game winning run for Wolves is better than any other European club, and is a clear reflection on the amazing work Vitor Pereira has done.

Leicester were perhaps one of the worst sides to have come to Molineux all season.

But Wolves still needed to beat what was in front of them – and they did so in style.

There was clear daylight between the two teams, with Wolves superior in all departments. Pereira’s side were refreshingly clinical in the final third, and Jorgen Strand Larsen managed to bag his 13th goal of the season.

Strand Larsen has now matched the 13 goals Raul Jimenez scored in his first season with Wolves, and it’s clear that he has been a fantastic addition.

And after yesterday’s game, he felt the love from his teammates on Instagram.

Strand Larsen actually came in for criticism earlier in the season.

That criticism did at times feel unfair, but now it’s nothing but praise for the Norway international, who is regularly impacting games for Wolves.

13 Premier League goals in his debut season is a fantastic return, and Wolves do appear to finally have the top number nine they haven’t had since Jimenez.

After the win over Leicester, against whom Strand Larsen performed strongly, the striker took to Instagram to send a message to fans, saying: “6 wins in a row, so proud of this team😍👏”

A number of his teammates replied, including Marshall Munetsi. According to Pereira recently, Munetsi has been a big key behind Strand Larsen’s improvement at Wolves.

And the Zimbabwe international clearly recognises the quality of his teammate.

Strand Larsen is one the signings of the season

There was criticism of Strand Larsen earlier in the season, but arguably this was unwarranted at times.

Strand Larsen always worked his socks off, but struggled to get decent service when Gary O’Neil was in charge.

Despite that, he still scored seven of his 13 goals under O’Neil.

But recently he has really stepped up and of course, he played a huge part when Cunha wasn’t in the team due to suspension.

With a haul of 13 goals in the Premier League in only his first season in England, Strand Larsen has surely been one of the best signings made by a Premier League club last summer.
