West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has branded Adama Traore ‘unbelievable’, in video on the Premier League’s official YouTube channel.
The left-back, who came face to face with the Spaniard on Monday, ran through his picks for each of the attributes on the ‘Ultimate Team’ player cards in the FIFA video game franchise.
When asked for who he would pick for the ‘Pace’ category, Cresswell did not hesitate.
He said: “I’ve played against him about 10 times and I don’t think I’ve kept up with him.
“He could give me about 10 yards and I still wouldn’t keep up with him.
“He’s unbelievable. He’s got pace, power, strength, and he even oils his arms up so you can’t even grab him.
“I don’t know how you stop him. I don’t think anybody does.”
Cresswell then goes on to say that Moyes has previously instructed his players to try and double up on the rapid winger.
Traore actually recorded his first assist of the season against the Irons on Monday, picking the ball up in his own half and driving all the way to the byline before crossing left-footed for Leander Dendoncker to head in.
Traore still feared
He may not have had the best of seasons, but Cresswell’s comments suggest that Traore still strikes fear into full-backs.
His words come after Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has stated previously (Goal) that Traore has made him feel powerless.
And there are likely lots more who hate coming up against him.
Hopefully Traore can take real confidence from his fantastic assist against West Ham and make several more goal contributions before the end of the season.
