Wolves finally put some points on the Premier League board as they beat Everton on Saturday.
It was an awfully tough game to watch with neither side offering much in the way of entertainment.
However in the 86th minute Wolves’ prayers were answered as they scored what turned out to be the winner.
With Pedro Neto’s wonderful delivery being met by the head of big man Sasa Kalajdzic.
The striker finally getting the chance to prove himself in a Wolves shirt after his injury which ruled him out for nearly the whole on 2022-23.
Following the game he was singled out for praise by his manager.

O’Neil praises Kalajdzic
Speaking in his post-match press conference, O’Neil spoke openly about his thoughts on his striker.
“He’s worked so hard to get here & Sasa can be that finisher we need…so pleased for him.” He stated according to Nathan Judge.
“He’s so popular in the dressing room, very highly thought of & to celebrate with his teammates & the fans in that moment is very special.”
It comes as his first goal for Wolves since his big money move from Stuttgart last summer.
Kalajdzic can make position his own
With Sasa off the mark now he will be hoping it will just be the first of many.
He was signed due to having a stellar record at Stuttgart and now he has shown the first signs of doing it for Wolves.
One goal for the club in just 53 minutes of on-field action is an impressive record already.
Given the sale of Raul Jimenez, Wolves are in need of a new first choice number nine.
This is a position Sasa will be envisioning himself in now following his winner against Everton.
