Wolves fans know Chiquinho to be a player with an eye for the spectacular – and yesterday, he scored an outrageous goal for his loan club Farmalicao.
The 23-year-old is spending the season with the Portuguese outfit, after there was a situation at Stoke City.
Chiquinho joined the Potters, but only a month later he left the club with Wolves sending him to Farmalicao.
Apparently, according to journalist Liam Keen shortly after the situation, he ‘didn’t see eye to eye’ with manager Alex Neil, who had actually called the star ‘quality’ after seeing him only a couple times.
So Chiquinho moved back to his homeland and so far, he has made 11 appearances for the club, scoring two goals – and his second was an absolutely beauty…
Wolves winger Chiquinho stuns with amazing overhead kick for Farmalicao

Farmalicao were taking on GD Chaves yesterday, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.
Hector Hernandez Marrero had given Chaves the lead from the penalty spot, but minutes later Theo Fonseca scored an equaliser.
Then, the moment of the match.
Farmaliao had a free-kick around 25 yards out, and the ball hit the Chaves wall and popped up into the air.
Chiquinho had moved forward and was underneath it around the penalty spot was and instinctively produced a brilliant overhead kick, slamming the ball into the bottom corner. thankfully, VAR confirmed Chiquinho to have been onside.
It was a tremendous piece of skill from the £3 million signing, for his second goal for the club since joining.
Sadly, it did not prove to be a winning goal, with Chaves equalising again in the second-half through Ruben Ribeiro.
Incredible skill from Chiquinho
This was some goal from Chiquinho, who had to react quickly after the ball popped up into the air off the wall.
The overhead kick is undoubtedly one of the most difficult skills in football, but the youngster made it look easy with his finish against Chaves.
It is a reminder of how talented this lad is. Wolves fans got a glimpse of him shortly after he joined the club from Estoril in January 2022, and he was one of the team’s best performers in the final games of the 2021/22 season under Bruno Lage.
He then suffered that awful knee injury, which meant he missed the whole of last season which was a travesty.
Hopefully, Chiquinho can enjoy a productive second half of the season with Estoril and score a few more goals and also lay on some assists. Given the speculation surrounding Pedro Neto, it would be great if he could come back in the summer and become a genuine first-team option.
